The vegan dishes served at the Manor House SPA Hotel restaurant have once again been awarded the symbol of the Viva Foundation!
The V-mark – a certification of vegan products – given to the vegan menu introduced in 2024 at Manor House SPA is a confirmation of its quality and a recommendation from experts. Vegan dishes are a hallmark of the restaurant of this Mazovian hotel and part of its holistic philosophy. A vegan menu was introduced here as early as 2011. This makes it one of the first featured in hotel restaurants in Poland, and a promoter of the vegan diet in our country. This year marks 10 years since the Viva! Foundation first awarded the Manor House SPA’s vegan menu with the V label.
There are currently 97 certified companies that want to change the world for the better, and 1,512 certified products that fit into the vegan lifestyle, which is based on empathy for all living beings.
K arta vegan suitable for vegetarians and vegans
– I am looking forward to another recommendation from the Viva! Foundation of our vegan menu. The V mark is a seal of our o way of thinking and a practical indication to gourmets, not only vegans and vegetarians, that all dishes on Manor House SPA’s vegan menu meet specific guidelines and are prepared from plant-based products that are made without any form of animal exploitation. – explains Malgorzata Figarska, Head of Gastronomy at the Manor House SPA Hotel and adds -.Over the last decade or so, the awareness that we are what we eat and that diet affects our health and well-being has developed a lot in Poland. We have also become more open to new flavors, we travel more, more ingredients are available with us, but we also know more about what we want and what to expect. Just as our guests’ preferences have changed over time, we have also changed our cuisine. Today it’s normal for many people to exclude zoonotic products from their diet, and even more to limit their meat consumption. With our culinary offerings, we respond to these needs, and – since vegan cuisine is my passion, I love creating new dishes, combining flavors and colors – I hope we also inspire. We often hear from our guests that the dishes we serve bring pleasure of taste and are pleasing to the eye.

Mark V
The V mark is the symbol of the Viva Foundation, with which vegan products are marked, i.e. products that: do not contain any zoonotic ingredients in their composition, do not contain zoonotic ingredients in the production process or palm oil, and are not tested on animals. The International Movement for Animals Viva! Foundation has been fighting to improve the lot of animals and promoting information on vegan lifestyles and nutrition for more than 20 years.
Although the origins of veganism date back to Antiquity, it has become popular in modern times. The reason is both health and ethical issues, as well as climate change, which is forcing changes, including in the realm of nutrition. After all, food production accounts for 18% of the world’s gas emissions, and as much as 70% of that from animal farming. In this view, veganism is seen as a cure for the progressive warming of the climate.
Manor House Kitchen
The Manor House SPA restaurant also serves traditional Polish cuisine and a seasonal tasting menu called “Dishes of the Forest.” A proprietary Diet of Life has also been developed here, which combines various eating styles recommended by nutrition experts. According to it, it is important not only what, when and how much we eat, but also in what order and combinations and according to our blood type. A constant in the Manor House kitchen are pickles, which have many health benefits. They are a natural probiotic and low-calorie snack, improve the functioning of the digestive system and metabolism, facilitate digestion, strengthen the immune system, are good for the skin, hair and nails, and delay the aging process.
Natural juices from a local orchard farm are available at breakfast, and all food and drinks are made with Grandera water. This structured, non-chlorinated water is prized not only for its taste, but also for its properties: enhanced regeneration ability, extended shelf life, clarity and softness. Among other things, water revitalized by Grander’s method delivers nutrients to cells faster and removes accumulated toxins, strengthens metabolic processes, and alleviates stomach and intestinal ailments. Used in Manor House SPA pools, Jacuzzis and baths, it cares for the skin while bathing.
