The new Ferrari F80 is a car that causes a faster heartbeat in car fans. But is it just another “fast and expensive” supercar, or something more? Certainly, the car is unique in every way – not only because of its performance, but also because of Ferrari’s controversial decision to use a V6 engine. What really sets this model apart, and why is it already said to have changed the world of supercars forever?
What sets the Ferrari F80 apart?
The Ferrari F80 is the first hybrid model with a V6 engine. Controversially. Such a choice may shock loyal fans of the brand, accustomed to the powerful V8 or the legendary V12. The use of a smaller power unit may seem misguided, but it hides advanced technologies behind it. The car is remarkably efficient and environmentally friendly. The twin-turbocharged 3-liter engine delivers as much as 900 horsepower, with an additional 300 horsepower provided by three electric motors.

Is a smaller engine a step backward? On the contrary! The Ferrari F80 shows that power can be generated efficiently, while taking care of the environment and performance.
Breakthrough performance and technical parameters
The F80 supercar is an absolute masterpiece of engineering. In this case, the data speaks for itself and needs no commentary.
- Power: 1200 hp (900 hp from V6 engine + 300 hp from electric motors)
- 0-100 km/h acceleration: 2.15 seconds
- 0-200 km/h acceleration: 5.75 seconds
- Top speed: 350 km/h
- Drive: Hybrid with three electric motors
- Aerodynamics: Active rear wing, movable ailerons, 1000 kg of downforce at 250 km/h
- Weight: carbon fiber monocoque, carbon roof, aluminum subframes
Luxurious minimalism and aerodynamics
Ferrari The F80 is not only a powerful machine, but also a beautiful car. Every body line has been designed with aerodynamics in mind. There is no room for superfluous ornamentation or unnecessary ribbing. A huge rear wing, movable ailerons at the front and a large diffuser at the rear make the car not only look futuristic, but also tear the air in front of it, generating impressive downforce.
The interior of the F80? Minimalist, but luxurious. An interesting feature is the lack of a screen for the passenger, which emphasizes that all attention is focused on the driver. “Boost Optimization” technology further enhances the car’s capabilities on the track, ensuring optimal acceleration at key driving moments.
A limited rarity for a select few
The Ferrari F80 will be built in a limited edition of just 799 units, each of which has been priced at 15 million zlotys. Although the amount seems astronomical, the car probably sold out even before the official launch. Ferrari always presents its creations to selected customers first.
Ferrari F80 – an automotive masterpiece
This is not just another supercar – it is a symbol of a technological breakthrough and a new approach to car design. With its powerful performance, luxurious finish and innovative technological solutions, this model became an icon long before its official launch.
