When fashion meets the sea, something more than a yacht is created – a work of functional art is created. In May 2025, the world saw the first superyacht signed by Giorgio Armani – the Armani Admiral 72m yacht, also known as Project Metamorphosis. It is a majestic combination of Italian elegance, engineering precision and a vision of open-water luxury.
Unveiled at Marina di Carrara, and making its official debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, this megayacht is not only a new chapter in the history of The Italian Sea Group, but also a symbol of Armani’s ambition, proving that his aesthetic philosophy knows no boundaries – even those of the sea.
Luxury that flows with the soul
The project was developed in collaboration with Italian shipyard The Italian Sea Group, operating under the Admiral brand, and design studio Centro Stile TISG. The interiors, as you might expect, were finished by the Armani/Casa brand, creating a space as exclusive as its Milan apartments.
The yacht’s sophisticated style is inspired by the minimalist geometry and aesthetics of military ships, giving it a strong but subtle character. It’s not just a floating villa, but a technical beast, capable of ocean cruising in the ice class.
Key features and technical parameters. Admiral Armani yacht in detail

- Interior area: about 180 m² of the rest area
- Helicopter deck: yes – on one of the upper “suspended terraces”
- Glazed panoramic spaces – floor to ceiling
- Finishing materials: Black Marquinia marble, Calacatta Gold, Canaletto walnut, high-quality fabrics and mirrors
- Engines and power: hidden data, but with this class, one can assume a quiet diesel drive with advanced stabilization systems
Suspended between sea and sky – the Armani Admiral yacht delights
The yacht’s upper decks are spaces that seem to float above the waterline – for this reason they are referred to as “suspended terraces.” There are open lounges, relaxation areas and a helipad. The whole creates the impression of a luxury loft drifting on the ocean – with the sky as the ceiling.

The interiors are not overwhelming – they are subtle and harmonious. The use of natural materials, soft lines and light reflected from the sea makes every morning on board a feast of the senses, and every night a tranquility in the sound of the waves. The Armani Admiral yacht is the essence of luxury.
Fashion on the water – a new chapter for Armani
The Armani 72m project was not created in isolation from the brand’s strategy. Giorgio Armani has been expanding his empire for several seasons now, from hospitality to real estate to the yacht lifestyle. The designer himself does not hide his excitement:
“The sea and design are two of my greatest passions. Through this collaboration, I brought my vision of design and decoration to the world of yachting. On board, as in fashion, aesthetics and functionality are combined to create a natural and elegant style.”
It is worth mentioning that Armani is also a sponsor of the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta, a prestigious regatta in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, opening the Mediterranean season.
Yachting is not for everyone – and that’s the point
With an estimated price tag of 105 million euros and a production limit of just two units, the Admiral 72m is for the most discerning luxury collectors. People who are not looking for a yacht, but a style manifesto.
Summary: Where fashion ends, lifestyle begins
The Armani Admiral yacht is more than a floating vessel – it is a vision. A combination of sea power and fashion finesse. It is a design that, like a well-tailored suit, will never go out of fashion.
