The Mazovian hotel complex Manor House SPA**** Odrowążów Palace***** has once again successfully passed the audit of the European Centre for Allergy Research (ECARF) and received a renewal of the prestigious quality certificate “Allergy-friendly hotel” for another two years
Manor House SPA – currently the Best Holistic Spa Hotel in Poland – has been an ECARF-certified allergy-friendly hotel for a decade now. This year’s audit by the European Center for Allergy Research, conducted in the hotel rooms and the Manor House kitchen, which also serves dishes prepared for exclusion diets and individual dietary recommendations of guests, was also successful. The certificate obtained is valid until May 1, 2027. At present, only one other Polish hotel holds the ECARF certificate, but over the past 10 years there have been times when Manor House SPA was the only hotel in Poland that met the rigorous requirements of this international organization and was entitled to use this prestigious mark, confirming the highest standards in accommodation, gastronomy and individual approach to guests with allergies.

Allergy – the silent epidemic of our time
– Allergy is one of the biggest health challenges of modern times. It is estimated that up to one in three Poles may have allergy symptoms. That’s why we have been consistently developing tailored offerings for people with allergies since 2015. We always try to be well prepared for different situations. Many people report allergies or dietary exclusions during their stay, but it is very helpful to be informed in advance about diets and dietary restrictions – this facilitates the work of our team and translates into the satisfaction of the guests themselves.– says Dorota Tokarska, Marketing Director of the Manor House SPA Hotel.

Allergy-friendly hotel
There are specially prepared rooms in the Castle Thermal building, which are equipped with purifying air ionizers, ionizing salt lamps, anti-allergenic comforters, pillows, bedspreads and mattress covers, cotton bedding and buckwheat husk pillows, and unscented, vegan cosmetics. They also have a ventilation system (an externally controlled air conditioning system) for natural ventilation, and special chemicals are used for cleaning. The floors are made of exotic wood, and there are no floor coverings, carpets or green plants, which could amplify allergic reactions. These rooms are physically separated from the part of the hotel (another building) intended for guests traveling with pets.

Allergen-free kitchen
– In the catering section, the audit confirmed compliance with ECARF procedures, i.e. exclusion of the risk of contact with allergens (separate stations, utensils, products), full labeling of allergens on the menu, availability of alternative dishes: gluten-free, lactose-free, egg-free, nut-free, etc., and individual approach to orders. During the audit, great emphasis was placed on ensuring that products do not contain even trace amounts of allergens. We have a wide range of products prepared, including: corn pasta, buckwheat pasta, coconut and other gluten-free flours, various nuts and jams. The committee appreciated the high level of sweets we serveUsing gluten-free and lactose-free cupcakes as an example. Our team has also undergone ECARF training and regularly updates their knowledge in this area. – explains Malgorzata Figarska, Head of Gastronomy at Manor House SPA, who coordinates cooperation with the European Center for Allergy Research on behalf of the hotel.

Comfort at every turn
The Manor House SPA is one of the most ututilized SPA hotels in Poland. In recent years alone, it has won the title of Best SPA Hotel 2023 in Poland, and in 2024, by the votes of guests, it was voted Best SPA Hotel in the Center in the prestigious Perfect SPA Awards. Thanks to the use of natural methods that support the psychophysical well-being of man and a consistent philosophy that treats the human body holistically, it has repeatedly received the title of Best Holistic SPA Hotel in Poland. It was the first in the country to become a hotel without children, directing its offer to adults (the youngest guests are 12 years old). It also pioneered the creation of a vegan menu in the hotel’s restaurant, suitable conditions for people struggling with allergies, and the use of natural methods to promote health and well-being. The complex uses water enlivened by the methods of Grander and Dr. Keshe – present in all pools, spa tubs, bathrooms and kitchen, it is especially appreciated by those with sensitive skin.

In line with the philosophy of holistic leisure and an ecological approach, the Manor House SPA hotel: eliminates plastic and reduces waste, uses local, organic products, reduces the transportation of raw materials, and takes care of the natural maintenance of greenery in the extensive historic park.
