Ferrari once again proves that it can combine extreme performance with elegance and everyday driving comfort. The new Ferrari Amalfi Spider, a 2+ spider with a front-mid mounted V8 twin-turbo engine, was recently unveiled in Maranello. This car represents a unique harmony between sporty character and versatility.
Ferrari Amalfi Spider. Design that inspires
Ferrari Amalfi Spider stands out with its fluid, minimalist silhouette and sculpted details that emphasize the car’s modern yet classically Italian character. The soft top, available in four custom fabric colors and two technical fabric options (including the new Tecnico Ottanio), folds down in just 13.5 seconds, even at speeds of up to 60 km/h. When folded, the roof measures only 220 mm thick. This allows for a spacious trunk: 255 liters with the roof closed and 172 liters with the roof open.

The new Rosso Tramonto body color, inspired by the hues of the Amalfi Coast at sunset, creates a spectacular visual effect.
Power and precision in every detail
Under the hood lies a 3,855 cm³ V8 twin-turbo from the F154 family, generating 640 HP at 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm. Thanks to this, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 320 km/h. Gear changes are handled by an 8-speed dual-clutch F1 DCT transmission, optimized for smoothness and driving dynamics.
Ferrari has introduced a range of technical innovations: low inertia turbochargers, separate turbocharging control for each side of the engine, and a new throttle management system. This results in linear acceleration. The throttle response is immediate. Even in the city, thanks to torque management strategies and the Start & Stop system.
Comfort, aerodynamics, and a modern cockpit
Ferrari Amalfi Spider is not just about performance. Passenger comfort, even with the roof down, is exceptional. The integrated wind deflector in the rear seat backrest reduces turbulence and noise. Moreover, it can be operated while driving at speeds of up to 170 km/h.
The dual-cockpit layout combines functionality and elegance. Meanwhile, the driver interface with three displays (15.6” digital instrument cluster, 10.25” central screen, 8.8” passenger screen) allows for intuitive control of multimedia, driving systems, and vehicle parameters. Physical button operation, the return of the iconic start button, and extensive personalization options make the Ferrari Amalfi Spider a blend of sporty spirit and luxurious comfort.
The car’s aerodynamics have been optimized for driving in an open configuration. That’s why the rear actively controlled wing generates additional downforce depending on speed and acceleration. Meanwhile, the front intakes and diffusers ensure a balance of forces and optimal engine cooling.
Technology and safety
Ferrari Amalfi Spider features the latest driver assistance systems: Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and many more. Dynamic vehicle control is managed by SSC 6.1, ABS Evo, F1-TCS, and e-diff3, ensuring maximum precision in all conditions.

245/35 R20 tires at the front and 285/35 R20 at the rear, developed in collaboration with Pirelli, Goodyear, and Bridgestone. They combine grip, comfort, and sporty handling.
Trivia
- Amalfi Spider is the first Ferrari to feature a low-viscosity oil that improves starting and allows the engine to warm up faster.
- The audio system and interior can be personalized with fabric from the roof, creating a unique stylistic continuity between the interior and the exterior.
- The roof folds in 13.5 seconds. Its sound and thermal insulation is comparable to cars with a retractable hardtop (RHT).
Ferrari Amalfi Spider – car and manifesto
Ferrari Amalfi Spider is not just a car. It is a manifestation of Italian passion for automotive excellence, where elegance meets cutting-edge technology and extreme performance. It is the perfect choice for drivers who value top-level driving excitement without compromising on comfort and style.
