There has been a real frenzy in the world of luxury supercars. The Ferrari F80, the latest model of the Italian automotive giant, officially the successor to the legendary LaFerrari, has been completely sold out. Interestingly, no copy of this groundbreaking hypercar has yet left the factory. On the other hand, the list of lucky buyers counts as many as 799 people worldwide. This remarkable event shows how much confidence and excitement the Ferrari brand inspires, and how difficult it is today to achieve success in the increasingly demanding luxury car segment.

Ferrari F80 – Production just around the corner

Official production of the Ferrari F80 will begin as early as 2025. Meanwhile, the first units will reach European customers at the end of the same year. American buyers will have to wait until early 2026. Although the launch of the model took place only on October 17, 2024, interest was so great that the entire limited series – 799 cars – found their owners even before the first one was built.

Technical data that is impressive

The Ferrari F80 is real beast. Absolutely unique in terms of performance and technology. Under the hood is an advanced hybrid powertrain: 3-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, supported by three electric motors arranged in an e-AWD system. The combined output is as much as 1,200 horsepower. Meanwhile, torque reaches an impressive 1,075 Nm.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 2.1 seconds. The top speed is 350 km/h. The state-of-the-art 8-speed dual-clutch “F1” DCT transmission allows for lightning-fast gear changes, which is crucial for high-performance.

The Ferrari F80 also impresses with its aerodynamics – active elements such as three-stage ailerons, S-Duct and a huge diffuser generate up to 1,050 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, which translates into incredible stability and precise handling.

Why is the Ferrari F80 special?

The Ferrari F80 is the quintessential example of contemporary technology and design, directly inspired by Formula One racing and Ferrari’s legendary successes in the long-distance WEC. The MGU-K and MGU-H systems, which until now we have only seen on the track, have been transferred to the road car. Therefore, the car is not only extremely fast, but also technologically advanced.

Innovative materials – extensive use of carbon fiber and 3D printed components – reduce the vehicle’s weight to just 1,525 kg (dry weight). At the same time, engineers have increased rigidity and strength. The car’s interior is tailored to the driver, with an asymmetrical passenger seat and a design inspired by the cockpit of a jetliner. Even at first glance it a true tribute to Ferrari’s racing roots.

Success on the track and a symbol of luxury

Ferrari is associated not only with luxury, but also with dominance on race tracks. Success in Formula One and in prestigious endurance races such as Le Mans are the best proof. That’s why every component of the Ferrari F80 has been fine-tuned for performance and reliability.

The F80 sets a new benchmark in the world of hypercars. It breaks records on the legendary Fiorano track. Its lap time is just 1 minute and 15.3 seconds. So it is currently the fastest Ferrari in the history of road cars.

Red symbol of prestige and dreams

There’s a reason Ferrari has been synonymous with success, sophistication and aspiration for years. Selling out the entire production run of the F80 before it even began is a testament to how strongly the brand resonates with car enthusiasts and collectors around the world.

Ferrari knows how to not only maintain interest. It efficiently raises the bar. The F80 is a manifesto of technical and artistic excellence. It is already making history as one of the most desirable and unique cars of its generation.
